... I finished this one a while ago, then I didn't like it, then I started over and just now found time to scan/post :) The first final version can be seen at the bottom of the process page.

  3. I've never been much of a Harry Potter fan, but I am simply taken aback by these illustrations. Sort of a Gustav Dore meets Franklin Booth kind of style. Astonishingly detailed and incredibly captivating. Bravo sir.

    Franklin Booth is obviously a favorite of mine. I'm nowhere near his level of detail and elegance of composition though. I work at it everyday though.
